General FAQs
I am interested to purchase the package, what are the next steps?
As soon as you made the purchase of the package, our Sales Manager Carla Yang will get in touch via whatsapp to ask for your help to fill up a registration form so we have you in our registered customer system. In addition, she will ask for your appointment preference. However, you are highly encouraged to get in touch with us first to check availability before making the purchase.
Do you offer weekend shoots?
Yes but with very limited slots. We only allocate 4pm or 5pm slots on Saturdays during the promotional period for these promotional shoots. Please note the slot is subjected to our $50 weekend surcharge.
Can i do extended family or multi-generation photoshoot (for family package)?
Yes. Our promo family package is for up to 5 pax, feel free to top up $20 per extra pax, up to 15 pax. If you have a huge group, may we suggest you to choose the Natural Living Room setup as it is larger. And if you have a big group, we will suggest you purchase another package to extend the timing of the shoot.
What backdrops can I choose for Family package?
For family session, you can choose either the Plain Classic backdrops (which we have multiple colours for you to choose from, i.e. white, mocha brown, black, dark grey, green, red) or our new Natural Living Room setup. What kind of themed setups can we choose for the Solo Baby session?

Do you offer outdoor shoots?
Afraid the nature of this promotion does not include outdoors. If you prefer outdoors, please enquire our regular package.
What happens if we have a fussy baby/child?
We will try our very best to get a decent gallery, however, if we are really unable to produce any good work, we may at the Photographer's discretion, choose to extend the session (if available), or to request for a rescheduling (if our schedule allows). Again, this will be at the Photographer's discretion only.
When will I receive my photos?
We typically take 2-3 weeks to edit and send your photos to you via an online gallery. 10 photos will be selected by our Photographer, and the rest will be shown to you via a watermarked gallery for you to choose to top up if you like. Top up fees are indicated in the T&Cs in the listing.
What is your cancellation/late policy?
Clients must provide at least 1 day of notice for cancellations or rescheduling of a booked session. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the payment.
If client is late for any amount of time, there won't be any compensation due to promotional nature. If there is no-show, or client cancels the shoot with less than 4hrs notifications, the payment will be considered void.
Bloom Photography reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to any unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, every effort will be made to accommodate the client’s schedule.
What is the difference between a basic edited and fully edited photos?
Basic edits include overall brightness, colours and cropping adjustments. Full edits bring it one step further with skin retouching/slimming or any specific requests on the persons in the photos.
How do we find the photo studio?

What are your Terms & Conditions?
Our T&Cs for each package is clearly indicated in the shop. It is important for you to take a look at the description in each listing.
What is your refund policy?
All payments or purchases made are non-refundable but they can be transferred to another person.
Studio Family / 3-12mo Baby FAQs
What are the setups for indoors?
Each studio family package includes 2 setups. These can be either be for the entire family or for baby/siblings only.
What's the difference between Family setups and Baby setups?
Family setups are shot against classic neutral coloured backdrops. Baby setups are themed and they come with props and an outfit. They are smaller too of course.
Can I take family photos in the themed setups?
Due to the smaller size of baby themed setups, adults will not be able to comfortably fit in. Family photos are done against coloured backdrops such as white, black, brown, pink.
How many outfits can my baby wear?
One outfit per setup only. However we do change outfits between the different setups!
Are the outfits standard to the theme?
For some themes where we only have one outfit, yes. For other theme where we have more, you can choose the one you prefer. Feel free to bring your own if you like!
What should my family wear?
We recommend colour coordinated outfits with less loud branding/logos/wordings. Think solid colours and subtle prints!
What if I want Hair and Makeup?
We have some artists' contacts for you in a prep guideline we send. Contact them directly as we do not take any commissions. You can use our studio or have them doll you up in your home! However, please let us know your preference on this.
I am not sure about posing. Will the photographer guide me?
The photographer will guide you through all the poses. If you have any preferred references please let her know.
How long before I get my lovely photos?
Hang in there! After 2 weeks we will send you a link for downloading your softcopies.

Cake Smash FAQs
How old should my baby be for cake smash?
We recommend to do our cake smash before your baby walks. Imagine them just walking out of the setup! Approximately 11-12mo is good.
What are the setups for indoors?
Each cake smash package includes one set up shown in our look book.
Can I take family photos in the themed setups?
Due to the smaller size of baby themed setups, adults will not be able to comfortably fit in. Family photos are done against coloured backdrops such as white, black, brown, pink, subjected to a family top up.
Can I do milk bath but not cake smash?
Yes. Please secure our family package that comes with 2 themes and all photos. One of the 2 themes can be upgraded to a milk bath at a top up surcharge.

That is provided our customer and us both decide to reschedule due to weather forecast a couple hours before the shoot.
Once on location however, we will not be able to replace the lost time nor reschedule.

What are the setups for indoors?
Each studio BB package includes 2 setups. These can be be of different colours for the backdrop.
What's the difference between indoors and outdoors shoot?
Indoor setups are shot against classic neutral coloured backdrops. For the outdoors it is against scenery. Of course it will be a warmer and humid outdoors compared to air conditioning.
What are the colours available for the background?
We have coloured backdrops such as white, black, brown, pink.
How many outfits can I wear?
One outfit per setup only. However we do change outfits between the different setups!
Do you provide any outfits?
Yes, we provide a variety of maternity gowns which you can choose from. Feel free to bring your own if you like!
What do I need to bring?
- Strapless tube bra, nude colour (some fabric wraps or outfits are translucent), preferably seamless (not those lacy kind). You may also want to bring black or white strapless bra to match with other white or black outfit.
